What is a PID?
In Tasmania every rateable property has a PID (Property Identifier), the number used by the Valuer-General, councils and TasWater on valuation and rates notices. A property can cover several parcels of land, each with its own title reference — the volume and folio of the Register (for example 123456/1). theLIST links both: PID → titles → parcels.
